I was dicking around in southern Maryland on some public land and crested a hill in my Cherokee and saw what must have been a few hundred juvenile turkeys crossing the dirt road into a corn field. The sound of gobbles and turkey talk filled the interior of my Jeep, and all I could do was sit in wonder.
